Material
You must bring swimsuit, bath towel and old shoes.
We provide you with a 5 mm neoprene wetsuit (in good condition), neoprene socks, harness, helmet, waterproof container and bag.
Equipment and un-equipment will be done in the parking lot at the entrance to the canyon.
For the day formula, remember to take a bottle of water and a small picnic.
Situation
The Gourg des Anelles canyon is located in the commune of Céret 66400 in the Pyrénées-Orientales . It is 30 minutes from Perpignan , Argelès-sur-Mer and Saint Cyprien .
The meeting point is in the car park on the right before the bridge which crosses the Tech at the entrance to the village of Céret .
It will take another quarter of an hour to arrive at the canyon parking lot.

The Gourg des Anelles canyon takes you to the Albères massif, next to the village of Cére t, 30 minutes from Argelès sur mer .
The canyon begins with a vertical of 25 meters, then a sequence of walking jumps up to 9 meters and some rappels but less impressive. Finally, a 12-meter toboggan abseil awaits you.
Twenty minutes of approach are necessary to access the canyon and twenty five minutes of walk through the forest of holm oaks and cork oaks to be able to regain the car park.
We meet at the entrance to the village of Céret , in the car park on the right before the Devil's Bridge. (The bridge is on your left, it goes over the Tech)
This bridge was built in 1321, the legend says that the devil himself would be the builder, he would have built it in a single night.
The Gourg des Anelles is a vertical type canyon and its access and exit steps are physical. From 12 years old.
This course is very busy during the summer period and traffic jams are created on the various abseils or jumps, which leads to a wait before each obstacle. To avoid a long wait (up to an hour) we suggest you go for the day. In décalant the schedules we try to avoid "rush hours" and descend the canyon at our own pace with repetition of jumps, picnic break... .
We offer the two options for this canyon :
- a half-day descent, either in the morning or in the afternoon.
- a day trip with a picnic in the canyon.
