The canyon of the Pyrenees! Located at the foot of Canigou in the Tête valley in Prades in the Pyrénées-Orientales, big slides, jumps, 2 abseils of 15m watered, all the ingredients are there to make an exceptional canyon.

 

A "must", which many departments envy us, it is one of the most beautiful and playful canyons in France.

It is a descent recommended for thrill seekers, however you can avoid all the big jumps as well as some slides.

 

A good physical condition is necessary to overcome the 3 hours of descent.

 

Attention this canyon is regulated by a prefectural decree, its descent is prohibited 2 days a week, remember to book early.

You can opt for this course for the day or half a day. This sensational canyon is reserved for sports enthusiasts and is perfect for EVG , EVJF and works councils.

We offer the  two options for this canyon :

- a half-day descent, either in the morning or in the afternoon.

- a day trip with a picnic in the canyon.

Predictable

To participate in the activity, it is mandatory to know how to swim. We offer the canyon of the Llech gorges from 14 ans.

 

We will meet you directly on site, in the parking lot of the Maison des Entreprises in Prades.

We provide you with all the equipment necessary for the activity, wetsuit, harness, descender, helmet. Shoes are available on reservation, otherwise remember to take old sneakers.

We invite you to take a bottle of water and some cereal bars.

What to do in the area

The Llech gorges are at the foot of Canigou, a mountain in the Pyrenees which rises to around 2,784 meters. Many trails starting from Prades exist to climb its summit.

 

A little further in the Têt valley, many villages are home to spas and natural hot springs.

 

It is also the road that leads to ski resorts in Spain and Andorra.

Location

The Llech gorges are in the municipality of Estoher, in the Pyrénées-Orientales. The meeting point is in Prades at the business center (blue house).

 

Prades is located in Languedoc-Roussillon 2h30 from Toulouse and Montpellier, 1 hour from Argelès-sur-Mer and Narbonne, 30 minutes from Perpignan.
